My Little Stone Cottage in Portugal

Nov 11, 2012

It occurred to me today that I have not yet shared any photos of my little stone cottage in Portugal! I can explain...while I have a shoebox full of pictures of it, I have yet to scan them into my photo stream to show you. This was before I had my trusty digital camera and iPhone, of course. Other priorities have taken center stage recently, but this winter the hard work shall begin to restore it to it's former glory as a simple but functional farm house. So for now, here is a little sneak peak of the cottage, from the backside. I promise there will be more to show, soon.

  1. Wonderful! It'll be hard work but what a nice project. Whereabouts is it?

  2. It's near Porto de Mos and the Grutas de Alvados, if that means anything to you. For those who have never been to Portugal, I guess the most famous nearby town would be Fatima.
It's in a teeny, tiny village called Telhados Grandes.
Thanks for the encouragement; I'm eager to start working on it!
